What's it all about?
Hundreds of local people, living within East Brighton New Deal for Communities,
are getting involved to make their neighbourhood a great place to live
- but are your views being heard?
Not everyone has time
or are able to come to meetings, but could you spare 5 minutes on a computer
once a month to complete a questionnaire?
If you live on Bates Estate, Manor Farm, Moulsecoomb, Saunders Park or
Whitehawk - you are eligible to register as an on-line Citizen.
You can register now and become one of the special on-line panel members
who will complete an on-line questionnaire, on different issues, once
a month.
Q. If I register and complete the questionnaires what good will it do?
The questionnaires have been based on what local people have identified
as problems in their neighbourhood - these are some examples of what has
been said:
"I don't feel safe on the street after dark"
"I want a safe place for my children to play"
"We need better bus routes"
"It takes so long to get any repairs done"
"I hang out on the street because there's nowhere else to go"
A lot of work has already been done through different projects in the
last year, but we still have a long way to go - your answers will help
us know what projects are starting to make a difference - what is or isn't
working and what should be done next.
